About Tourism Flanders

The Tourist Office for Flanders promotes tourism in and towards Flanders and Brussels in a long-lasting way in order to create more prosperity and well-being.

To promote: this implies support as well as development and marketing;

In a long-lasting way: according to the principle of balance between people, planet and profit;

Tourism: this comprises all forms of tourism (business-related as well as leisure-related) and recreational activities in a tourist framework;

In and towards: with the emphasis on incoming and domestic tourism. Outgoing tourism is primarily approached from the viewpoint of consumer quality.

Flanders and Brussels: we are competent for the Flemish Community, meaning Flanders as well as Brussels;

Prosperity and well-being: prosperity being the economic aspect, well- being the social aspect we aim to improve.
